昔のレコードのStereo部分を積み重ねたサイト。

個人的にステレオのマーク集めをライフワークとしているが、情報としても本当にありがたい。
このサイトの中で見たことないものが8個あった。

StereoやHi-Fidelityなどのマークを並べた自主製作ステッカー

このサイトは海外だがレコード屋さんがこれをやってるとなると念願だったステレオのマークを集めた本の発売も期待できる。

ブラジルのBillboard Magazineの広告。ちょっと前のものだがカンヌでも何か賞をとったみたいなのでポストしておく。
CMYKの網点が各ミュージシャンの写真になっている。そしてCMYKのインクはミュージシャン（の音楽）が何からできているか表しており、上記のマリリン・マンソンの場合はKiss、Ozzy Osbourne、The Cure、Cherとなる。色の濃度は以下のとおり

Baeblemusicみたいにライブ映像を集めたサイトもあるが、ラジオ局やポータルサイトでスタジオライブの映像を置いてるサイトを集めてみた。

BLACK CAB SESSIONS
タクシーの後部座席で走行中に演奏している。これまでにGrizzly Bear、Brian Wilson、Beach House、Death Cab For Cutie、The National、Spoonなどが出演してる。

From The Basement
Radioheadなどのプロデューサーで知られるNigel Goodrichらが中心となって始めたスタジオライブのサイト。客、司会者なしでミュージシャンがリラックスして演奏できる空間を演出しており、My Morning Jacket、Beck、Radiohead、The White Stripes、Sonic Youth、P J Harvey、The Dead Watherなどが過去に出演している。ベスト盤のDVDFrom the Basementもでている。昔はitunesで販売していたが日本からは購入できなかった…

The Interface
音楽ポータルサイトSpinnerのスタジオライブ映像を集めたコーナー。
Broken Social Scene、The Hold Steady、Mayer Hawthorne、The Cribs、Broken Bells、Mew、Sigur Rósなどが出演している。

NPR Tiny Desk Concert
NPRのスタジオ内（部屋？）で行うライブセッション。Phoenix、Moby、Raphael Saadiq、John Vanderslice、The Mountain Goatsなどが過去にライブを行っている。NPRではこれとは別にコンサートの音源も公開している。

Record Club
Beckが友人達と一緒にアルバムを丸ごとカバーするプロジェクト。
これまでにINXS – “kick”、Velvet Underground – “The Velvet Underground & Nico”、 Leonard Cohen – “Songs Of Leonard Cohen”、Alexander Spence – “Oar”をカバーしている。

Project Thirty-Three
シアトルにあるJive Time Recordsというレコード屋が運営している昔のLP(33回転盤)のジャケットを集めたサイト(Tumblr)。幾何学的な模様やパターンを駆使してデザインされた物を中心に集めている。Command RecordsやDot Recordsのものなどflickrでも見つかるのだがきちんとスキャンしているのが素晴らしい。

「Provocative Percussion」のジャケットは7枚ほどJoseph Albersがデザインしている。詳しくはこちら

VMA Twitter Tracker
大分前のものだが2009年のMTV Video Music AwardのTwitterでのつぶやきを視覚化したMTVのコンテンツ。テレビ放送した19時から23時30分までの間、30秒間隔で出演者やノミネートされたミュージシャンなどに対するつぶやきを集計し写真を使いうまく視覚化している。写真が大きいほどツィートが多いことを表しており、タイムラインの動きにあわして変化がわかる仕組みになっている。

カニエ・ウェストの暴走っぷりだけが印象的でしたが、こちらのコンテンツでもそんな感じだった。

画像をクリックするとアーティストに関連するキーワードとタイムラインの詳細が表示される。

サマソニ、フジロックとこんな感じでtwitter使ったコンテンツに期待。今や夏フェス大国となった日本、夏フェス全体でのコンテンツもできそう。

Mayer Hawthorne – A Strange Arrangement
ミシガン出身のシンガーソングライター、メイヤー・ホーソーン。60、70年代の黄金期モータウンサウンドの継承者といっても過言ではなく、Stones Throwからのデビューアルバムも好評ですが、ミュージックビデオは意外とスケボーとか出てきて組み合わせが面白かったので集めてみた。
